Bluestone Communications, Inc. is pleased to announce that Frank Sharp, Jr. has joined Bluestone as a Senior Project Manger. Frank has over 25 years of electrical/teledata experience. Frank began his career as an apprentice with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union #98. Prior to joining Bluestone, Frank was the Senior Project Manager on a telecommunication infrastructure installation of a 65,000 square foot data center for one of the world’s largest financial institutions.

Bluestone Communications, Inc. is pleased to announce that Robert Lowe has joined their staff as a Project Manager.   Bob has 23 years experience in communications installation and project management.  His previous experience included the management of all cabling, equipment installation, and move support for the Merrill Lynch Hopewell Campus Project, in Hopewell, NJ.  The Merrill Lynch project was a five-year project consisting of eight office buildings, and four training/assembly buildings, with a total of two million square feet.  Previously, Mr. Lowe was an owner of a communications cabling company in the Philadelphia area.

Bob has a BS and MBA from Drexel University.  He is a member of BICSI, with certification as a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), and Outside Plant Specialist (OSP).

Bluestone Communications, Inc. (“BCI”) is proud to announce our participation in IKEA’s new 80,000 sq/ft North American Sales Office located in Conshohocken, PA.  BCI will furnish and install the required materials, tools and experienced craft personnel to successfully complete the 1,300 voice and data cables within this new facility.  BCI will work for Bovis Lend Lease, Inc. to accomplish these tasks within the aggressive construction schedule.

Bluestone Communications, Inc. has been chosen by Structure Tone, Inc. to complete the telecommunications installation at one of the world’s foremost investment firm’s regional data center.  This data center, located in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA., has been designed with the latest in cabling technology and full redundancy.  With 1,000 10-gigabit copper cables and over 1,000 strands of laser optimized 10-gigabit fiber, this data center has been designed to support high bandwidth application for many years in the future.
