Bluestone expands geographic reach to provide National Account Support services

In an ongoing effort to take a step closer to our customer’s needs and provide value added services to our customers, Bluestone Communications pro-actively expanded our service offerings, as well our geographic coverage.  Such growth was done strategically and controlled, in order to ensure that there is no disruption of service to our customers.  Understanding the importance of seamless workmanship across all points of business, Bluestone will work closely with you to establish a national plan, while also fine tuning localized, site-specific support plans.  With a national network of quality partners and labor, Bluestone is able to successfully provide a level of national support and service that you would expect from a local partner.  Such consistent management of multiple sites of business allows customers to feel comfortable with reliable and superior installations, despite geographic differences.

Bluestone working as part of the Children’s Hospital’s new Ambulatory Care Center

As part of a master plan, by The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, to transform the hospital’s South Campus, a new 675,000 square foot Ambulatory Care Center will be constructed. Located in University City, the new 8-story building will be constructed on top of an existing 5-story subsurface parking garage. Excavation of the site (formerly the Philadelphia Civic Center) was the largest in Philadelphia history. Scheduled to open in 2015, the new Ambulatory Care Center will handle the most complex pediatric cases in the world.

Scope of work for Bluestone Communications will include all Structured Cabling, as well as the installation of site-wide Security Systems and Nurse Call systems.

Bluestone awarded Audio Visual installation at Philadelphia’s Franklin Institute

Taking cues from the late Benjamin Franklin, the mission of Philadelphi’a Franklin Institute is to inspire a passion for learning about science and technology. Opening in the summer of 2014, the Karabots Pavillion (at the Franklin Institute), will further highlight the connections between science and art.

Bluestone Communications was awarded the Audio Visual installation throughout the 53,000 square foot pavillion.

Bluestone awarded Distributed Antenna Installation at Bank of New York Mellon Center

In partnership with one of our valued integration partners, Bluestone Communications was recently awarded the installation of a Distributed Antenna System throughout the fifty nine floor, 1.5 million square foot Bank of New York Mellon Center, in Philadelphia.

The premier sports and entertainment arena in the greater Philadelphia area, and home to the Philadelphia Flyers and the Philadelphia 76ers, the Wells Fargo Center can accommodate over 20,000 spectators. In partnership with one of our valued integration partners, Bluestone Communications was recently awarded the installation of an extensive Distributed Antenna System throughout Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center. The Wells Fargo Center presents a unique and challenging installation environment, as a function of the arena seating set-up and the schedule of various sporting events and concerts.

NECA recognizes Bluestone with the 2013 Zero Injury Award
