Hatzel & Buehler and Bluestone Communications employees volunteered by assisting in the rehabilitation of two houses for Habitat for Humanity of New Castle, Delaware. Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County is an independently chartered affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, and build affordable housing, providing 0% interest mortgages to the hard-working qualified homeowners.
Since 1986, Habitat New Castle County has built more than 250 homes and ranks among the top three Habitat Northeast affiliates out of 210 (from Delaware to Maine).
Employees spent the day painting, installing refrigerators, washers, and dryers, and cleaning a large portion of the two houses.
