Hatzel & Buehler and Bluestone Communications employees volunteered with the National Women in Construction’s Block Kids event, for the Delaware Chapter. The Block Kids Building Program is a free event for students in grades 1st-6th to learn more about the construction industry. With the use of Legos and other materials, children are tasked to create a model related specifically to the construction industry.
Employees spent the day setting up the event, welcoming and checking in contestants, judging the children’s construction models, and assisting with different activities.
Hatzel & Buehler and Bluestone Communications continue to have a strong relationship with The National Women in Construction organization and are looking forward to future events this year.
